The goal is to prevent adverse effects such as corrosion, swelling or degradation of elastomers, deposits, or compromised seals that could lead to leaks or sprinkler failure. While corrosion inhibitors aim to reduce corrosion, they aren’t about evaluating how materials interact with one another.
